San Francisco - Internet giant Google said, almost half of the USD 12.4 billion it pays to buy the Motorola Mobility is dedicated to patents and technology.
"In total, approximately USD 5.5 billion (or equivalent to Rp 52.2 trillion) for the allocation of technology development and patent," Google wrote in filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission United States (U.S.).
Reported by Bloomberg on Thursday (7/26/2012), USD 2.6 billion are used for the property, which is defined Google as the financial benefits they expect to be had with the acquisition of Motorola Mobility.
